The Great Victorian Rail Trail is the longest rail trail in Australia, following the route of the former railway line from Tallarook to Mansfield, approximately 121 klm.

Experience riding through the Cheviot Tunnel, 201 meters long. Close your eyes and you may still be able to smell the engines as they thundered through! Built from over 675,000 bricks it was opened in 1889. A unique part of the Goulburn Valley history.

After meandering through the village of Bonnie Doon,  head across the ‘Glad Phillips’ Memorial GVRT bridge, approximately 385 meters long. This ride offers delightful views across the famous Lake Eildon.

Let your horse relax & enjoy it as much as you, with individual yards every night, easy riding and great surfaces. Booted or shod horses will have no difficulty completing this ride.
